This event was hosted by our city – not on campus (I have an email subscription to our city’s event scheduling) .The bus ride was only 10 min though. It was basically a networking session where small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs got together. The food was provided by various restaurants and catering companies in small samples. There were various stations of food, and the quality of food served was superb! Very expensive and savory stuff!
Station 1: Smoked salmon on cracker, macaroons
Station 2: Roast beef on bread, herbal salad, pumpkin and walnut soup
Station 3: Crab cake on mango salad
Station 4: Specialty coffee
Station 5: BBQ pork and cheese on bread
Station 6: Various pizza slices
I cycled each station at least 5 times! I was slightly embarrassed after the 4th cycle since the servers must have recognized me freeloading. I simply smiled at them, and they smiled back, served me the food and no questions asked.
I had so much free food that night I had to limp home in pain.
